If you are a NEW friend & this is your first time visiting GOOD BOY, we require a free 15-minute meet & greet session prior to booking.
This allows us some time to get to know your dog & assess their behavior & temperament before scheduling a service. This initial interaction helps us tailor our care to the individual needs of each dog & create a personalized plan for their stay, plus it allows your pup to see if we’re a good fit for them.
Our Meet & Greet policy ensures our commitment to building trust with both our furry friends & their parents.
-
Since our dogs interact in an all-day play environment, it's important for them to get along with others.
We require your pup to come in for a 15-minute Meet & Greet. We’ll then do a trial day to see how they interact with our group of dogs.
We require your pup to be:
- Spayed or neutered (if seven months or older)
- Current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines
- On a Flea/tick regimen & in good overall health
- Friendly with other dogs & people
- Successful Meet & Greet
-
When preparing for your pet's stay with us, remember these few essentials to ensure their comfort & well-being!
- Favorite toys or blankets
- Collar & leash
- Enough of your pet's regular food to last for the duration of their stay (& maybe some of their favorite treats!)
- Any medications or supplements, along with clear instructions for administration
Lastly, feel free to bring along any other items that you believe will help your pet feel more at ease, whether it's their bed, a special treat, or even a piece of clothing with your scent on it. We want your pet to feel as comfortable & relaxed as possible during their stay with us, so anything that reminds them of home is always welcome!
-
At GOOD BOY, we offer a unique approach to overnight boarding that prioritizes your pet's comfort. Unlike typical boarding facilities that may confine pets to crates, we have a welcoming home environment that provides a cozy & familiar setting for your furry friend's stay.
We believe in giving pets the freedom to roam & relax just like they would at home. Pets are welcome to lounge on the couch or snuggle up on the bed, ensuring they feel at ease & part of the family while they’re with us.
Our goal is to provide them with a stress-free experience, and if cuddling up on the furniture helps them feel more at ease, we wholeheartedly encourage it.
With our home-based approach to overnight boarding, you can trust that your pet will receive personalized attention & care in a warm & inviting environment, making their stay with us a true home away from home experience.

We understand the vital role that exercise & playtime play in our pets’ overall well-being. We prioritize providing ample opportunities for physical activity & social engagement to keep your furry friend happy & healthy.
Each day, your dog will enjoy supervised play sessions tailored to their individual needs & preferences. Whether they prefer a game of fetch, romping around with other canine companions, or simply exploring our secure outdoor play area, we ensure they receive the exercise they need to burn off energy & stay mentally stimulated.
We also recognize the importance of social interaction for dogs, which is why we encourage group play & one-on-one interactions with our trained staff members. These interactions not only provide physical exercise, they foster social skills & confidence in your pet.
Rest assured, we strive to create a balanced schedule that includes plenty of exercise & playtime to keep your dog happy, healthy, and entertained throughout their stay with us. We're dedicated to providing them with the attention & activity they need to thrive!

We understand that introducing a new dog to an unfamiliar environment can be a sensitive process. That's why we have a carefully crafted approach to ensure a smooth transition for every furry friend.
Our process begins with a formal meet & greet session where we take the time to get to know your dog & assess their behavior & temperament. This initial interaction helps us tailor our care to the individual needs of each dog & create a personalized plan for their stay, plus it allows your pup to see if we’re a good fit for them.
Before going into an extended overnight stay, we typically like to have a series of interactions (drop-in visits, walks, etc.) to establish trust & familiarity with your pup. This not only helps them become comfortable in a new environment, but it supports the foundation of a positive, trusting relationship.
-
This completely depends on the service you’re looking to book! For doggy daycare, all dogs need to be able to socialize with other dogs without showing signs of aggression.
If this is a concern for your pup, we just ask that you let us know so we can best accommodate their needs. We offer one-on-one services that may be a better fit for your pup!
-
To ensure the health & safety of all dogs in our care, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations for the following: rabies, distemper, bordetella (kennel cough), parvovirus, parainfluenza (dog flu), & adenovirus.
In addition to vaccinations, all dogs should be flea & tick-free and must be spayed or neutered.
-
For pups that are not yet fixed, we can provide one-on-one services including drop-in visits & walking.
However, we do require that all dogs be spayed or neutered if they are coming for interactive doggie daycare or overnight boarding.
-
If your dog usually eats a midday meal, you can bring their lunch when you drop them off & we'll be glad to feed them. The dogs are fed in separate feeding areas, so there is no competition for food.
**Please note that we do not feed dogs breakfast or dinner unless they are boarding with us.
-
Yes, we offer a basic bath package that includes ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth & hair brushing, and paw balm application. Prices start at $75, varying depending on the size of your dog.
While we don't offer professional grooming services, we're happy to provide referrals to a few trusted local groomers who can meet your pet's grooming needs!

Although we strive to maintain the safest environment for our pets, like all things in life, the potential for illness & injury does exist, especially in a highly interactive environment.
Before enrolling your dog in our services, you will be required to fill out an application, complete with emergency contacts & your vet’s information. In the unlikely event of an emergency, if you cannot be reached, we will contact whomever you assigned as your emergency contact. Then we will attempt to contact your vet. If all else fails & we cannot reach anyone associated with the dog, we will use our own discretion & either transport your dog to an emergency vet or have our mobile vet come to us to assess the dog at the owners’ expense.
-
We are able to give medication such as pills, topical creams/ointments, and eye or ear drops; however, we do not give injections.
-
No, we do not have any breed restrictions or special considerations for certain types of dogs. We welcome all breeds, including those that other places may consider 'scary' breeds such as pit bulls, dobermans, and German shepherds.
At GOOD BOY, we believe that all dogs deserve love, regardless of their appearance. As long as they pass our meet & greet evaluation, they are warmly welcomed into our care.
